Understanding, not just information.

Cordastra is a student-led interdisciplinary platform built around one idea: learning shouldn’t stop at the textbook. We connect history, culture, mythology, politics, global affairs, human rights, debate, research, and contemporary issues into a single space for inquiry.

Through conferences, presentations, discussions, and collaborative initiatives, students question assumptions, investigate evidence, and communicate ideas with intellectual independence — rather than simply absorbing what they’re given.

Why we started

Curiosity deserves somewhere to go. Cordastra began with the belief that the past is something to question and investigate, and that students should have a space to turn their questions into shared inquiry. We bring different disciplines together so that learning can become a conversation.

01 / The beginning

Founder’s Note

Cordastra was born from a curiosity I could never switch off—the urge to ask why, look beyond the obvious, and uncover the stories hidden between what we know and what we have yet to discover.

My fascination with history, archaeology, mythology and culture has always been more than an academic interest. I believe the past is not simply something to memorise, but something to question, investigate and experience.

I created CordAstra to turn that curiosity into a community where young minds can question boldly, research deeply and think beyond the textbook.

We may not have every answer. But we can always ask a better question.

Executive Director’s Note

As Executive Director of Cordastra, my vision is to create a space where students can question freely, research thoughtfully, and share ideas with confidence. To me, Cordastra is a shared belief that our questions deserve space and our ideas deserve a voice.

Through meaningful discussions, conferences, and collaborative initiatives, we aim to connect disciplines and take learning beyond textbooks.

Built by students, for students, Cordastra invites each of us to bring our curiosity, listen to different perspectives, and contribute to a community where ideas grow through inquiry and dialogue.
